Amorgos House by Athanasiadis Architects

Scrolling instagram one day, my jaw dropped when I came across this Amorgos summer house, designed by Athanasiadis Architects. Luckily, Alexandros Athanasiadis is a friend of mine, so I called him up and grilled him about this project. This gorgeous house, designed for a young couple and inspired by the Monastery of Hozoviotissa in Amorgos (built 1017), as well as one of Iannis Xenakis designs (an architect primarily known for his early work under Le Corbusier);  it is  being built with white marble from Paros, white plaster and wooden floors. Still in the making, it will be ready in September 2017. I’m giving you here an exclusive peek of  the 3D Visualizations
