#CaffeTorino, the famous apperitivo bar, sponsored by Martini, opened as a pop-up at Skouleniou 4, only for 3 days! I was one of the lucky ones to visit it and get to taste the Martini Riserva cocktails first hand! The night was pure class and sheer fun, as the bar had been turned into #CaffeTorino, taking us all the way to Italy! Among a sophisticated & elegant crowd , there were some of my favorite bloggers, chatting & snapping impeccable selfies, as well as small companies of Italians, sitting at the bar. The food – italian bites of mozzarella, prosciutto crudo, Grana Padano and mini fried risotto balls – was droolingly yummy! I actually attacked those fried risotto balls and mozzarella bites several times in-between socializing!
Invited by Sophie Ravier, the woman behind The Yoga Mama Club, I travelled to Sifnos to do a yoga weekend retreat for the closing of the summer season. I thought I was going there just to chill a bit from my continuous state of anxiety and get my muscles fired up again with the help of my bestie Zoe Karamani, who is an amazing Ashtanga teacher. But this was only part of the experience… The Yoga Mama Club is about rebooting and feeling inspired; it is really about Sophie Ravier’s energy & good intentions that aim to bring people together and offer a mini, rejuvenating, soul-soothing break.
Hermès has a strong, sophisticated personality, but it is the pure elegance, combined with the French origin that really make up the essence of the brand. The iconic “Birkin” bags unmistakably stand out; wanted by many, envied by even more; a symbol of class & refinement. However, at the Athenian party “Carré Mania”, celebrating the renovation of the Hermès boutique in Athens, it was the colorful scarves that stole the spotlight and took center stage. It was undoubtedly one of the best parties I have ever been to in Athens. Everything was organized and presented to the nines. The hosts were no other than Pierre- Alexis Dumas, Creative Director and Francesca Di Carrobio, Director of Hermès in Greece. The night was magical, full of color and silk…
Greece is trully a blessed country, with divine greek islands that you can visit all year round! One of my favorites is Symi that I recently visited for a long weekend to celebrate my beloved friend’s Zoe’s birthday! We were a group of four girls with a check-list of paradise beaches, amazing tavernas, bars, shops and hidden knucks to visit… And we did go everywhere – trust me! Here are our tips from the weekend:
I’ve known Eugenia Kokkala-Mela since we were both teenagers, spending our greek summers in Spetses. So, I was thrilled to write this post about HEROES, her sophisticated Souvenir Shop – an absolute gem in Athens, Plaka! She has always been this incredible beauty, so opinionated and educated that carries the air of a Greek girl that has grown up and lived most of her life abroad.
#ANTIPAROS, a small Cycladic boho island, carefree and original that has attracted many worldide celebrities over the years! Especially on the last week of July and first weeks of August, the island is really buzzing with life and its tiny town, with traditional restaurants and bars, is crowded with sunkissed, good-looking people, both local and international. Antiparos can be a great place for family holidays and can be lived in a very tranquil & serene way… But my memories from this island – especially on the first weeks of August – are those of an alternative & unpretentious party scene! Throughout summers, I have witnessed lots of hook-ups and beginnings of love stories taking place there. And I have to admit that I, too, have fallen under the spell of the island on a rare blue moon…
A few weeks ago, GREY GOOSE invited me on a one of a kind press trip. I got to visit (and record in detail) Le Logis, GREY GOOSE’s home located in the Cognac region of France! The property itself is a 17th century French manor (once home to the lords of the region), with impeccably elegant interiors that depict the brand’s class & style. As for the exterior, grounds carefully planted and landscaped, there are vineyards and a greenhouse with a variety of fruits and herbs from the local countryside.
