Katerina Kaloudi is an incredibly elegant woman, a very very talented photographer and a gracious spirit. My first encounter with her was when I was a teen and participated in one of her photography projects for the 2004 Olympic Games in Greece. She is a friend and recently I’ve had the pleasure to coincidentally sit next to her on a plane ride and hold a lengthy conversation on several life’s topics. I admire her open mindness, her ability to express her opinion on a broad spectrum of subjects and EQ, all of which I believe are depicted in her line of work
Microcosmos – Macrocosmos shown below is one my favorite projects of hers, which also to
ok part in the La Quatrieme Image Paris exhibition. She mystically transforms parrot feathers into stormy seas, sea birds eggs into planetary schemes, sand dollars and butterfly wings into allegorical paintings.
